Amazing win on pesticides! Thanks to campaigning from Leicester Friends of the Earth – which included petitions, attending council meetings and lobbying – Leicester City Council has agreed to stop using pesticides in the parks from January. Find out more.
Dock workers at the Port of Liverpool have started a 2-week strike over pay and Liverpool Friends of the Earth members joined the picket line. Great solidarity action from our network.

Transport Action Network held its first ever conference with over 100 people in attendance. Several Friends of the Earth groups and affiliates made presentations and workshops which were very well received.
Luton Friends of the Earth had its first meeting and have successfully attracted new members. They’ve been doing great work with community mapping and outreach for the Warm Homes campaign.
